Youth CareerCareers the Next Generation

Trades & Technology Expo

The 12th Annual Trades & Technology Expo will take place at the Medicine Hat College on Tuesday April 25, 2017.

SEAPYCD in partnership with the Medicine Hat College Trades and Sciences Departments, and with funding from Alberta Works, aims to provide high school students and the general public with the opportunity to experience trades and technology related careers, and network with local participating organizations. Local organizations and Medicine Hat College Trades and Sciences programs will have interactive displays and/or information booths. Individuals can also tour through the competition areas for the SE Alberta Regional Skills Competition, which is held at the College on the same day.

Stay tuned for a list of exhibitors that we be at the 2017 Trades and Technology Expo!

The Trades and Technology Expo is specifically designed to generate career awareness to students in grades 7-12 with specific emphasis on the Trades.  This event is supported by the various Trade and Technology departments in Medicine Hat College as well as Industry partners and representatives.  These participants generate unique “hands-on activities” for over 1000 visiting youth.
